How to use this hair straightener:

1. Blow-dry your hair completely (having wet or damp hair while using this type of plate is damaging and ineffective).
2. Plug in your hair straightener and select your desired temperature setting.
3. Separate the top half of your hair into a bun so you have less hair to work with at a time.
4. Hold a small section of the bottom half of your hair taut (approximately 1"x 1" thick).
5. Starting as close to your head as possible (without burning it), clamp your plate onto the small section of hair you've separated.
6. Pull it down in one fluid motion.
7. Repeat steps until the bottom half of your hair is straight. When finished, repeat the hair straightening process.
